Gummy FAQs
What are the gummy ingredients?
The gummy doses we provide contain the following ingredients: Water, Granulated Sugar, Beef Gelatin, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Artificial Flavor, Artificial Color, and Cornstarch.
Do you provide vegan, kosher, halal, or dye less gummy dosing?
Gummy dosing is not a matter of choice but a vital aspect of maintaining quality control in the TIP program. We do not accommodate requests to exclude sugar or food dyes.
Please note that all our gummies are made with beef gelatin without any alternatives. Patients may seek an exemption for religious reasons through their religious leader.
In rare instances, patients with a severe allergy to beef may not start with gummy dosing until they have successfully overcome their beef allergy via micro-dosing the actual protein. This approach is determined individually for each case.
Our Food Laboratory and its scientists are in the process of developing new types of food proteins that are both colorless and vegan. We will keep you updated on these advancements.
How should you store gummies?
Gummies should be stored in a cool, dry room and away from direct sunlight. When traveling, keep your gummies in a light-tight container, as they are sensitive to light exposure.
The gummies do not require refrigeration.
Keep your gummies enclosed in their provided packaging until your child is ready to dose. Exposing the gummies to open air will negatively affect the gummies’ texture.
The gelatins are not candy and should be stored out of reach of children. Each gelatin contains proteins that can potentially harm your child if more than the prescribed dose is consumed.
Drinking room-temperature water immediately after chewing gelatin is recommended to ensure the entire dose is swallowed.
Oversite
The facility, food sources, and machinery we use are FDA regulated, as required by law. Additionally, each batch of gummies undergoes rigorous third-party testing to verify the protein content in every gummy.
